Meet Zach, our driver/cellarman turned brewer!
1) What's your favorite brewery, aside from SLBC?
Altamont, Good Wolf, and Russian River.
2) What interested you in craft beer?
The creativity that comes with craft beer.
3) What is your favorite SLBC beer?
Shell Shaka.
4) When did you move to Tahoe?
May 2017.
5) What is your favorite trail in the Lake Tahoe basin?
All depends on the season. I like hiking Mt. Rose to Marlette Lake in the spring.
6) What's an extreme sport you like watching or participating in?
I'd like to think I'm a freeride snowboarder. I'm sure others would disagree.
7) How do you typically take advantage of a nice day in Tahoe?
With a morning bike ride with my pup. Then we head to the beach for a swim and enjoy an Expedition Simcoe. After that, I usually play a game of disc golf. And lastly, go on a walk or hike with my lady and pup.
8) What do you like best about working at South Lake Brewing Company?
My coworkers around me make the atmosphere vibrant and fun. Everybody here has knowledge and creativity.
